Recipe Browser Mod Overview

What It Does

Recipe Browser adds a searchable interface to look up any item's recipe, what drops it, what NPC sells it, and what it's used to craft. In vanilla Terraria you'd need the wiki open constantly — Recipe Browser puts all that information in-game.

This is particularly valuable with content mods that add hundreds of new crafting recipes.

The Recipe Browser UI

Access it from the inventory (book icon). The interface provides:

• Item search by name
• Full recipe display with required crafting station
• Reverse recipe lookup (what is this item used in?)
• Drop source display (which enemies drop this?)
• NPC shop browser (who sells what?)

Searching Items

Type any item name in the search bar to instantly see:

• How to craft it (ingredients + crafting station)
• What drops it (enemy names and drop rates)
• What recipes use it as an ingredient
• Which NPC sells it and at what price

Finding Drop Sources

Click any item to see its full drop table — every enemy that drops it with the exact drop chance percentage. This eliminates guesswork about farming specific items.

Installation

Search 'Recipe Browser' in tModLoader Workshop. Pairs perfectly with Magic Storage and Boss Checklist as the QoL trio. No configuration needed.
